Stray Rescue is a unique place.
First, we rescue from the streets. Dogs and cats who are at their wit's end - they've been beat up, they're starving, they've experienced abandonment and betrayal. Most come in with heartworms, and many are injured.
In addition, we have developed a reputation. Not that we are just no-kill, but that we won't give up on a soul, no matter the cost or time it takes to help them heal. If they have a chance, we take that chance. And even when odds seem grim, we have witnessed miracle after miracle. Because of this, we are tagged daily in messages begging for help. Good Samaritans all over our city, state, and beyond are looking out for the voiceless. They are finding animals in need and reaching out to us to take them. Saying no is the hardest thing. But with your help, we don't have to.
When you sign up to give just $5 every month, you are helping more than you know. The monthly income we KNOW we are getting helps us say YES, without hesitation to these tough cases who have nowhere else to go.
